What It Is

Storyteller Overland introduced the GXV WILD on May 18, 2026, as the latest addition to its Global Expedition Vehicles lineup. The new model falls in the Super C category and is built on a RAM 3500 single cab chassis with Big Horn Level 2 trim. It targets overlanders who want serious off-road capability in a more manageable footprint than the larger GXV Hilt and Epic models.

Powertrain and Suspension

The GXV WILD is powered by a 6.4L HEMI V-8 producing 375 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque on regular 87-octane fuel. Storyteller worked with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) for a three-inch lift suspension system, providing clearance for 37-inch MPT tires on custom 20-inch forged wheels. Despite the camper box, the truck can still tow up to 11,000 pounds and carry up to 1,000 pounds of payload.

Living Quarters

The camper box sleeps up to four adults, with a queen-size loft mattress and a rear dinette that converts into a second sleeping area. The kitchen includes a Vitrifrigo 4.1-cubic-foot refrigerator-freezer, a portable induction cooktop, and a microwave that doubles as a convection oven and air fryer. The wet bath features a cassette toilet with fresh-water flushing, a dimmable light, and an exhaust fan. Climate control comes from a Truma rooftop air conditioner and a 14,000-BTU hydronic heating system. A signature FlipOut Deck opens the rear wall into an outdoor platform.

Pricing and Availability

The GXV WILD starts at $299,898. Orders are open now through Storyteller's dealer network. Deliveries to owners are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
